Ahh, Autumn is near. My favourite time of the year. I am so ready for you.
Amongst the dark chilly nights, foggy mornings & colourful leaves, Here are some of the reasons I LOVE Autumn!
Snuggling in Front of the Fire
Grab your hot chocolate, put on some candles and light the fire. Cosy nights are ahead of us.
Home made meals
The temperature has dropped, its time to put the stew in the slow cooker and look forward to getting home and tucking in to a lovely hot meal.
Hot Coffee and Hot Chocolate
There’s nothing better than nipping into your local Costa for a delicious hot drink to warm you up on chilly day.
Scarves & Boots
Its time to bring out my favourite fashion items; Scarves & Boots. I’m obsessed with scarves & boots and cant wait to invest in some new ones for my collection. I always feel better in my cosy clothing and long boots instead of trying to squeeze into some shorts and some uncomfortable sandles.
The smell of home; Candles
Nothing will ever replace the soothing scent and soft glow of a candle in a dark space. There’s nothing more comforting than a soft light that illuminates a room.
Reading Time
I love a good book, I find myself reading a lot more in the snuggly cold nights.
Crunchy Autumn Leaves
Enough Said.
Halloween
The only time of year you get to show your true weirdness without being judged. Eat as many sweets as you like without guilt & have fun making your children’s costume and treating them with goodies and apple bobbing.
Bonfire Night
FIREWORKS! I get totally blown away by fireworks, I don’t know what it is they just memorize me, I love them. Gathering around a bonfire with sparklers, toffee apples and hot dogs, wrapping up warm and waiting for the big show it loved ones is just the best feeling.
